Akha spindles originate
in the hills of the northern region of Thailand
used by the Akha native people. Weighing
in at less than an ounce, it is best suited
for spinning short-stapled fine fibres such
as cotton, silk, cashmere, angora, qiviut,
or wool.
- Can be used supported or suspended.
- Whorl woods available: maple, elm,
cherry, walnut and some exotic woods.
- Whorl diameter: 2" - 2 ¾"
- Shaft length: 8" - 10"
- Hook: notch or mini swan neck
- Weight: 10g - 20g

12" shaft 4" arms. Removable cross
arms allows you to create centre-pull ball while
